The Inactive Lava Zone is characterized by large, arching structures and walls of hardened lava with occasional steaming lava falls. It is the second deepest biome and the penultimate area in Subnautica. i believe each power source when charged will stop producing until its needed again (using the battery of it). The Inactive Lava Zone is a cavernous biome located 900 meters below the surface. what appears to be it pulling from only one, or that the buffer is draining is because eventually you reach a break even point with power, where generated power equals out to consumption.

also loading without a mod like this can change power priority too. a lot of players use mods to reprioritize where power is drawn from first. The power sources do have priority however. this is because the thermal plants are charging their internal batteries before they are connected to your grid. if it takes a while you will notice a huge buffer of power up to 250 for each thermal plant. depending on how long this takes, when you get back to the base after connecting the thermal plants to your grid. you generally start at the heat source constructing the plants. this can easily be evidented when you begun construction of a thermal power source. this means that the solar panels have internal batteries, as do the thermal plants. unlikely, the power sources in the game are internal in the device they are tied to. Subnautica >Thermal plants not giving power to bases.

SUBNAUTICA THERMAL PLANT GENERATOR

If you hook up 2 thermal plants to the same transmitter there is no reason for the energy generated per second to increase since the bandwidth remains the same. The Thermal Plant is a generator crafted with the Habitat Builder that converts nearby high.

Then when you start to make another transmitter, it should attach to the first one and you start to swim toward your base thats what i assumed would happen, but im only seeing the connection line from the 2 thermal plants to the first transmitter.

On the Thermal Plant is a screen that displays the temperature of the surrounding area (rounded to whole degrees). First, put one transmitter near the thermal plants so they all connect to the transmitter. The Thermal Plant can produce limitless power for Seabases given time and proximity to heat. Presumably, a transmitter will have a specific bandwidth at which it can transmit power. The Thermal Plant is a generator crafted with the Habitat Builder that converts nearby high temperatures (>25☌) into Energy. The best temperatures Ive found for the thermal plant are in the Jellyshroom Cave, near the lava geysers.
